2025 GAM Insights Report
As a part of the Association's 125th anniversary celebration, GAM has created a first-of-its-kind report. The Insights Report is a document for both industry insiders and outsiders; giving manufacturers a look outside their own factory, and helping stakeholders better understand the industry and its needs.
The Insights Report gathers information from across the industry, and associated business sectors, presenting readers with a full picture of manufacturing in the state by using five key insights:
- Manufacturing Transforms: A review of the industry's history.
- Manufacturing Matters: Manufacturing's impact on Georgia.
- Makers Making: A breakdown of goods made in the state.
- Maintaining Momentum: How the industry can stay competitive.
- Moving Ahead: An outlook for manufacturing.

2023 Georgia Manufacturing Workforce Needs Report
This inaugural report aims to identify Georgia manufacturers’ immediate and collective workforce needs, the skills and credentials required, the timeframe in which these needs must be met, and the untapped populations they’re willing to consider for hire. Through this report, manufacturers tell us what they need to sustain and grow operations in Georgia.

Fair-Chance Hiring Guide for Georgia Manufacturers
Our goal at GAM is to foster a net increase in the availability of manufacturing workers. A way to do that is by working with untapped populations, including justice-involved individuals. While many of our members want to embrace fair-chance hiring, they simply don’t know where to start. As a result, GAM has developed a strategic guide to aid Georgia manufacturers with successfully implementing fair-chance hiring practices.
